Reiki Treatments |
Reiki treatments usually last from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours and are completely safe as well as very relaxing. Reiki is 100% natural, there is no use of chemical or drugs and you can have treatments as often as you wish. Reiki is an ancient healing method that uses the ever abundant supply of energy from the universe to 'recharge' the body's own natural energy system. When dis-ease or illness is present in the body they cause blockages in the energy system. These blockages can be compared to the cholesterol that gathers in the arteries of the body when healthy life habits are not followed. Medical research has proven that stress can do a great deal of damage to your body. If you think of the way stress affects you then you can plainly see how relaxation and stress reduction can only increase the health of your whole system... for example think of a stressful situation and your reaction to it. Your muscles tense up and may even ache. This tension creates tightness throughout your body and in turn blocks the proper flow of blood and energy to your muscles and vital organs. When the proper flow is blocked then dis-ease and illness starts to manifest. They will manifest in all three areas of your being; mental, emotional and finally physical. When they have penetrated the first two areas and finally show up in the third area (physical) then we begin to take action. We usually turn to prescribed medicine and treat the symptoms instead of the original cause. Releasing energy blockages help fight the dis-ease or illness on the first, second and finally third levels and this is just what reiki does. The most wonderful thing is that there is never any physical manipulation of body tissue and it is therefore extremely helpful for treating any painful or dibilitating diseases. It is a wonderful treatment for infants and the elderly; those that need extra special care and gentle touch. Reiki treatments do not interfer with, but in fact compliment, all other medical and/or natural healing modalities and techniques. The treatments stimulate a calming effect that in turn act as a natural sedative to the whole nervous and energy systems so that any tension caused blockages are released. This in turn creates a natural flow of energy through the energy system which cleanses and heals. Treatments can be given in person or through a distant healing method. Distant Healing requests. It can be used to treat any living thing, as everything is made up of energy and has an energy system. This includes animals, birds, plants and trees, anything that has energy can benefit from Reiki treatments! You can learn Reiki from me; even become a certified Reiki Practitioner running your own Reiki Practice or even become a Reiki Master Teacher, without leaving your own home.
